The Role

As a BI & Data Analyst you will have a clear understanding of the services we provide and how this is represented in the data. You will work on global initiatives as well as country-specific topics. This will allow you to present informative and accurate reporting and data analysis. It will also enable you to work closely with other teams within Oviva to help them to understand the data and how we can use this data to drive improvements. Ultimately we want to improve the health of our patients and data is key to achieving that and therefore so will you be.

As well as working with internal, country stakeholders you will work with the Data Science, Data Engineering, Finance, UK Operations and Product Teams to continuously improve our data processing and reporting.

You will be responsible for pulling together reporting on our global operation and performance, supporting financial models and understanding better our coaching performance, especially in the UK.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and own dashboards and reporting for coaching performance, finance standard reporting and global metrics

  • Contribute and build clean models in dbt to support our enterprise data model and allow internal stakeholders to generate their own reports

  • Support analysis of our operational and patient care to help drive best-in-class care and improve the efficiency of Oviva

  • Deliver various ad-hoc analytical reports or insights for managerial decision making

  • Contribute to transformation projects and OKRs with support to achieve step change improvements at Oviva

  • Follow & suggest improvements to standardisation, best practice and self-service practices across the BI team

  • Collaborate closely with Business, Data Science and Engineering & Commercial stakeholders

Job requirements

Your profile

  • A result-driven, pragmatic mindset, ability to cope with and improve imperfect data sets

  • Comfortable in SQL: you read and “speak” it

  • Hands-on mentality 

  • Working experience with dbt and an understanding why it is so required

  • Able to create dashboards in data visualization tools such as: Google Data Studio, MS Power BI, Looker, Mode, Preset, Metabase or Tableau

  • Fluency in English
