You will be joining an organisation that has treated 500,000 patients to date and is opening a new shared service in Poland to support our global operations.


To help scale our growing business, we are looking for a Head of Accounting to drive financial excellence, implement best practices, and lead our global accounting team. This pivotal role is a great opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge, who is forward-thinking, innovative and wants to make an impact. For this role, we are seeking candidates who can speak both English and German proficiently. 


The Role:

  • Lead and oversee the global accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all countries.

  • Develop and implement best-in-class accounting policies, procedures, and controls to support the company's strategic objectives.

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to senior leadership, contributing to informed decision-making and business growth.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the accounting team, empowering them to excel and achieve their full potential.

  • Collaborate closely with our CFO and external auditors to lead annual financial audits.

  • Coordinate all tax-related matters with external advisors, ensuring compliance and minimising liabilities.

  • Own the implementation of a group-wide ERP and consolidation system.

Job requirements

What are we looking for you to bring:

  • Progressive experience in accounting leadership roles in multinational environments.

  • Deep technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in GAAP/IFRS standards, along with expertise in international tax regulations and audit principles.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse team.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of driving change and innovation.

  • Language skills required: proficient in English and German
