To support our growing business, we are looking for a Principal Digital Product Designer

The role

This is an exciting role in our product team for a seasoned professional. Your goal will be to improve our Oviva Patient App to support our patients to experience better and more digital user journeys. You will work in a product trio and be responsible for the delivery of the design solution as well as strategically and conceptually evolve the Oviva App in close collaboration with the Product Managers and Engineers. A key to the success of this role is to develop a deep understanding of both organisational objectives and users' needs to help shape and execute our product strategy.

Job requirements

Key responsibilities

  • App Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to expand the app’s capabilities, using data-driven insights to deliver impactful product updates that improve patient outcomes and retention.

  • Data-Driven Design: Lead user testing, analyse metrics, and work closely with product managers and analysts to guide iterative design processes based on data.

  • User-Centric Problem Solving: Regularly engage with patients, gather their feedback, and translate insights into design solutions that align with both customer needs and business goals.

  • Design Execution: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring smooth implementation by collaborating closely with product managers and engineering teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Present design concepts and results to cross-functional teams, advocating for user-centred approaches that enhance user experience.

What are we looking for you to bring

  • A track record of minimum 7 years of successfully designing software products with a focus on app designs and 3 years of experience as a Senior Product Designer

  • Strong portfolio, showcasing your ability to drive user engagement and retention through design solutions.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, balancing business goals with user needs.

  • Practical experience in UX research methods - Interviews, shadowing and usability testing

  • You are a collaborator - You will be in continuous collaboration with product managers and engineers at every phase of the product development process

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.

  • Proficient in Figma and user research tools

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German is a big plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Desirable :

  • Good understanding of behavioural psychology

  • Already worked for a nutritional care or behaviour change company

  • Great motion/animated design experience
