The Role

As a Backend Engineer, you will be key in shaping Oviva’s technology platform, building scalable solutions that empower healthcare professionals and patients. You will:

• Develop and maintain a cutting-edge software platform, implementing new features and enhancing existing ones.

• Scale our technology to serve hundreds of thousands of active patients.

• Take ownership of the platform—from source code to production—ensuring high quality, security, and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional squads (Product, Engineering) to refine technical solutions that drive real impact.

• Fix and prevent issues, conducting thorough root cause analyses.

About You

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop scalable solutions.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and convey technical insights clearly.

• A team-oriented mindset, thriving in an agile environment.

• A solid background in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

• Experience with modern technologies such as Java 17+, Jakarta, Quarkus, Kotlin, SQL, or similar.
